Description

Turkey is known for its flat-woven rugs, and rightfully so! This handwoven technique has been passed down through generations, creating textiles that share the voice of each artist. We have repurposed these storied textiles into one-of-a-kind pillows. Kilim pieces are heavily textured and handcrafted from wool yarns.

Each pillow varies as is the charm and beauty of handmade products. This piece is kilim on the front, with natural solid color fabric on the back, and a metal zipper closure.

Pillow cover only, insert not included. We carry a line of carefully sourced hypoallergenic alternative-down inserts available for purchase here. Visit The Pillow Size Guide to learn more.

Handmade in Turkey

Quality + Care

- Quality: 100% Unknown Fibers.
Please note that we suspect that the front fabric is wool, and the back fabric is cotton, but since it is a vintage textile there may be other fibers included in the makeup that we are unable to account for.
- Care: Spot treat with a damp cloth or dry clean only. Do not wash.

Dimensions

- The Oblong Cover is 12"x20". We suggest a 12"x20" pillow insert, inserts are sold separately.

Our Partner

Our partner in Istanbul, Turkey is a third-generation family-owned business celebrating traditionally hand-woven Turkish rugs by salvaging and repurposing vintage rugs into pillows. This saves these heirlooms from landfills and the global issue of growing textile waste.

About us

Meet Sarah

Hello! I'm Sarah, Jersey City based designer, and the founder of Love the Clutter. In 2020, I created Clutter after spending years in the fashion industry when I realized that the products I was designing no longer aligned with my commitment to the maker and the environment.

Fusing my passion for home decor with knowledge gained from the fashion industry, I set out to establish a decor and lifestyle brand that celebrates and protects both the artist and the earth without sacrificing: style, quality, relevance, or accessibility.

My life has been shaped by the joy of creating, and this is the foundation on which Clutter was built. I am thrilled to share this joy with you.
