Return Policy

We hope you are in love with your Clutter merchandise, like can't-stop-staring-at-it kind of love; however, we understand that sometimes items may need to be returned for store credit, or exchanged. Please review our return policy below:

Refunds and Returns:

  • We accept returns for store credit or exchange within 14 days of the original purchase date.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, in their original packaging with tags attached, and in the same great condition it left our store or shipping location. 
  • A copy of the original invoice or packing slip must be included with the returned item(s). We cannot accept returns without a receipt.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these criteria or are returned after the specified period.
  • We will issue store credit upon the receipt of the item less the return label charge.
  • Please contact to set a return into motion. You will be supplied with a return label
  • Your store credit will be sent in form of a digital gift card to the contact information (either phone or email) that we have on file.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Some items are not eligible for return or exchange, including:
    • Made to order, and custom order pieces
    • Gift Cards
    • Vintage Clothing
    • Workshop Tickets

Damaged or Defective Items

For Online Orders

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us at within 48 hours of receipt. 

  • Please include the following in your message:
    • Full Name
    • Order number
    • Reason for Return
  • Damaged items will not be accepted past the 48 hour period of delivery due to the one-of-a-kind nature of products
  • We will do our best to work with you to replace or repair the item, as many of the item(s) in our shop are one-of-a-kind

For In-Person Purchases

Love the Clutter is not responsible for damages that occur after the item has left our premises. 

  • Once a purchase is made and the item leaves our store, the responsibility for its care and safekeeping transfers to the customer.
  • We do our very best to ensure products are in the best condition for you, however, we recommend inspecting all items thoroughly before leaving the store premises to ensure they are in satisfactory condition.
  • Any damages that occur after leaving the store will not be eligible for return or exchange unless covered under a manufacturer's warranty.

Refund Processing Times

  • For online orders, once we receive your return, please allow 5 business days for us to issue your store credit. This will be sent to the email or phone number we have on file.

A few more things before you go

We try our best to ensure that the online images of our products most accurately portray the details,  look, feel and color of the physical item; but computer monitors and lighting vary, and we cannot guarantee that the images on your screen are a perfect portrayal of the real thing. Please keep in mind that we are a small artist-run business, please choose mindfully while shopping.

In certain cases, exceptions to this return policy may be made at the discretion of Love the Clutter management. The Return Policy is subject to change at any time without notice.
