Team Lead + Operations Coordinator
Love The Clutter – Jersey City
We are looking for a Team Lead + Operations Coordinator to help guide our team, support day-to-day operations, and keep our store running smoothly through each season.
This role blends leadership, organization, and hands-on retail work, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting daily retail tasks.
- Oversee task planning and delegation to ensure the team stays organized and on schedule.
- Manage projects and priorities in Asana, tracking progress and follow-ups.
- Support inventory organization, seasonal transitions, and merchandising updates.
- Maintain operational flow, troubleshoot systems, and identify process improvements.
- Oversee housekeeping standards to ensure a clean, welcoming space.
- Draft and publish website product listings and assist with administrative tasks.
- Foster team communication and morale, creating a positive, collaborative work culture.
- Provide on-call support as scheduled for operational needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Experience in retail, operations, or project management is preferred.
- Comfort with technology and systems (Asana or similar project management tools a plus).
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and an eye for detail.
- Ability to balance hands-on work with planning and oversight.

Part-time, approximately 8–10 hours per week. Weekday evening and weekend (Saturday/Sunday) availability preferred, with occasional holiday shifts as needed.
- Training during the week of 10/7, to start the week of 10/14

Retail Associate

Key Responsibilities
- Work on the sales floor, delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting daily retail tasks.
- Executing daily shop tasks and shop upkeep
- Support inventory organization, seasonal transitions, and merchandising updates.
- Receiving, processing, and labeling inventory
- Packing and shipping orders
- Other tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Comfort with basic technology and point-of-sale systems (training provided).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Interest in home décor and thoughtful, handcrafted goods.
