This collection was made in collaboration with a woman-owned business based in Morocco. The owner and founder moved to Morocco from the USA in 2016 as a nurse. As she traveled the country to provide healthcare to villages, she met both talented women and men who were creating gorgeous home textiles. She was exposed to the darker side of this industry, where these artisans were being taken advantage of by vendors and tourists in the area. Many were not receiving fair pay or appreciation for their work. To combat this, she started her own business working with these weavers and tailors, with the mission to pay fairly and celebrate their traditional craft. She has connected us with the artisans who have created these beautiful works.
