Beldi Tapered Tumbler Set

$24.00
Description

A genuine Moroccan institution, the beldi glass has been the tea glass of all local families since 1949, the year of its creation. This particular style is recognizable thanks to the raised ridge that allows for handling even when serving hot tea. Kessy Beldi glass is mouth blown from recycled cola and beer bottles, so each piece is unique and shows signs of the handmade process in slight bubbling and organic shapes.  Each glass is fired at 1000° C (1832° F) and then soaked in a cooling furnace, making for an extremely resistant end product.

The Brand

Founded in 2014, Kessy Beldi is a recycled glass factory located in Marrakech. Heated, blown, and shaped, then finally soaked in a progressive cooling furnace, the glass goes through a complete craft process in order to later shape elegant and distinguished design objects. Despite its obvious fineness, the Kessy Beldi glass is an extremely resistant material that easily withstands everyday life (dishwasher or oven at moderate temperatures). The green reflection of the product comes from the recycled glass used for the product. Founder, Bouchaid made Kessy Beldi a brand that falls within a strong ecological framework, in which 100% of the glass used comes from recycling.

About us

Meet Sarah

Hello! I'm Sarah, Jersey City based designer, and the founder of Love the Clutter. In 2020, I created Clutter after spending years in the fashion industry when I realized that the products I was designing no longer aligned with my commitment to the maker and the environment.

Fusing my passion for home decor with knowledge gained from the fashion industry, I set out to establish a decor and lifestyle brand that celebrates and protects both the artist and the earth without sacrificing: style, quality, relevance, or accessibility.

My life has been shaped by the joy of creating, and this is the foundation on which Clutter was built. I am thrilled to share this joy with you.
